Dr. Wang is a clinical supervisor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health and a faculty member in the Department of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine at Bastyr University. She also maintains a private practice in Kirkland, Washington.

Education

  • Oriental medicine doctor from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China, in 1983
  • MS in TCM from Heilongjiang University of TCM, China, in 1988

Past Experience

Dr. Wang practiced as a physician at First Hospital of Harbin Medicinal University and Hospital of TCM of Hieilongjiang University in China from 1983 to 1993. She works with a variety of clinical conditions, including internal diseases and cancer care.

Classes Taught

Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese herbal therapeutics, Acupuncture therapeutics, Acupuncture technique and Chinese pattern medicine.

Interests

Dr. Wang focuses on working with internal disease, cancer and pain-related conditions.

Philosophy

Dr. Wang truly listens to patients in order to understand the reasons for health concerns. She then uses traditional healing therapies to treat the whole person and to stimulate the patient's innate healing power (otherwise known as "qi").
