Kory DeAngelo, MS RDN CD

Biography

Kory is an Integrative Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Assistant Professor in the Nutrition and Exercise Science Department at Bastyr University where she teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in clinical nutrition assessment and therapy, therapeutic culinary nutrition, food writing, and public health nutrition. She is the Nutrition Clinic Coordinator at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, Bastyr’s teaching clinic. Previously, Kory has worked in the hospital setting as a clinical RDN specializing in organ transplant nutrition and in the nutrition culinary setting as a cooking instructor for various groups. Her clinical interests are varied and she primarily approaches nutrition counseling through a mindfulness-based approach. Additionally, Kory is the Chair of Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine (DIFM) DPG for the 2020-2021 year.
