Current Roles

Dr. Apichai is a core faculty member in the Department of Acupuncture & East Asian Medicine and a clinical supervisor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. He also serves as an advisor for the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Sports Medicine Club.

Education

  • MD from Medical School of Jinan University in 1992
  • MS in acupuncture from Bastyr University in 1997

Past Experience

After Dr. Apichai received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Jinan University, where he also completed several medical internships and research projects, Dr. Apichai joined the Tui Na Rehabilitation Department at First Branch of Guangzhou TCM Hospital in 1993.

Die Da (TCM Sports Medicine),  Auricular Therapy, Clinical Theater, TCM  Therapeutics 3,5 and 7; Chinese Herbal Therapeutics 4; Tui Na (TCM Body Work), Qi Gong; Tai Chi Chaun; Acupuncture Techniques; TCM Nutrition; Thai Massage.

Interests

Dr Apichai has a special interest in physical medicine and pain management.

Philosophy

Dr. Apichai believes the true cure is not medicine but the healing power of nature. By correcting diet, natural biological schedule and lifestyle, medicine serves as a guide on the road pointing to immortality.
