Dr. Yasuda is an assistant professor in Bastyr University's Department of Physical Medicine and a faculty supervisor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health.

Education

  • BS in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1994
  • Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 2003

Past Experience

Dr. Yasuda has been in private practice since 2003 and a faculty member at Bastyr University since 2009. He is also a contributing editor of the Textbook of Natural Medicine, 4th Ed, Ch 205: Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Interests

Dr. Yasuda's clinical interests include chronic pain, chronic fatigue, digestive problems and immune system dysregulation, including autoimmunity, allergy and chronic inflammation.

Philosophy

Dr. Yasuda supports each patient’s healing process according to their individual needs, not just their diagnosis. He emphasizes physical medicine, homeopathy, counseling, diet and lifestyle interventions to help patients navigate their path of healing with more grace and ease.
