This training is scheduled to meet Thursday to Sunday, July 6-9, 2023 from 8am-5:30pm (Pacific Standard Time). 13-week format from September 6 to December 6, 2023 on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm-9:00pm taught by senior instructor, Laurie Levy. (No class on November 22) This course is perfect for people who prefer learning in shorter classes over a longer period, want to learn with a close cohort of students, and can complete up to 4 hours of pre-work between classes. This virtual workshop will consist of the same DONA-approved curriculum as the traditional 4-day intensive class but offers a more spread-out schedule for people who want more time to assimilate the material. Completion of this training meets the criteria for three requirements towards DONA International Certifications: (1) Birth Doula Workshop, (2) Introduction to Childbirth for Doulas and (3) Breastfeeding/Chest feeding for Doulas.

This not-to-be missed virtual training opportunity is limited to clinicians or attendees with experience in perinatal education, support, or mental health. This workshop will be hosted as a live-remote learning via Zoom and the two-day format includes the Foundational training class on Friday, October 6, 2023, and the Advanced Counseling class on Friday, October 13, 2023. Class times are 8:30am to 4:30pm on both days. Classes will include two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Registrants must attend both the Foundational and Advanced Training. Register early as space is limited!
