Gain postnatal competence, tools & capacity taught by a DONA International-approved trainer-Tracy McPhillips. This Postpartum Doula training, hosted as a 2-week format, will be held March 24-April 1, 2023 and meets on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00am-5:30pm (Pacific Standard Time). Must be able to complete 2-4 hours of pre-workshop modules before the course begins and up to 4-6 hours of flipped content between the first and second weekend of class. Completion of this training meets the criteria for two requirements towards DONA International Certifications: (1) Postpartum Doula Workshop, and (2) Breastfeeding/Chest feeding for Doulas. This training will be in-person and participants will be required to provide proof of vaccination and comply with mask and social distancing requirements. REGISTER NOW- Registration deadline is March 15. We do offer a Course Assistant position to provide classroom support, and in exchange the Course Assistant would receive discounted tuition. Full tuition is $725. Participants will receive additional information, including login information once registered. Our Postpartum Doula workshop is led by a distinguished DONA International-approved trainer whose leadership is recognized in our professional maternity and postpartum communities.  Our trainers are active, working doulas with thriving doula practices in Seattle, Washington.  Guest lecturers of diverse cultural backgrounds are invited to speak on their areas of expertise in postpartum care.
